Polychrome Jasper: Polychrome Jasper is also called Desert Jasper or Royal Savannah Jasper. It was discovered in 2006 in the deserts of Madagascar. It is an opaque, multi-colored chalcedony which develops in massive formations. It is named for its multi-colored swirls – sand, rust, brown and grey hues. Later finds exhibit beautiful hues of pink. All Jaspers are generally stabilizing and grounding, bringing strength, stamina and protection – Polychrome Jasper is no exception. The swirling formations found in the stone suggest embryos and goddesses. It is a wonderful stone to connect to the love and nurturing of the Earth. It is especially helpful when one is adapting to change. The pink stones connect to cosmic love of the Universe.
