Bumblebee Jasper (sometimes called Eclipse Jasper): is a rare and striking banded stone discovered in the 1990’s inside of volcanic vents in Java, Indonesia. It is not a ‘true’ jasper, as it does not contain Quartz, but rather a radially grown fibrous Calcite made up of a wide variety of minerals. Forty elements have been identified in its composition. This makes it a powerful healer as it can bring so many elements in the human body into balance. Some of the power stones that give Bumblebee its dominant colours, black, orange and yellow, are Pyrite, Orpiment, Realgar and Sulfur. This synergy is VERY powerful and will bring buried thoughts and emotions to the surface very quickly. It is a fire element stone, which is quickly evident as it immediately begins burning through densities in the body and aura. It’s an intense stone that works rapidly and can feel a bit overwhelming as activates emotional triggers really stirs things up. It is a great stone for those who are ready to work with it. I find it’s especially good for releasing repressed anger and patterns of victimhood, especially when those feelings are so deeply buried that we have lost touch with them.
The fire of Bumblebee Jasper ignites change by providing release from restriction and igniting passion, motivation and ambition. It helps one to shift to a more positive perspective. Bumblebee Jasper is a stone of adventure and exploration. It encourages one to abandon second-hand learning for direct life experience.
When worn, Bumblebee Jasper provides protection, grounding, alertness and focus for the wearer. It protects from dark and negative energies both inner and outer and is a sure-fire remedy for energetic doldrums.
Physically, Bumblebee Jasper can help with physical pain, especially when caused by neuropathy and inflammation. It can also help with allergies and digestive issues.
