Tumbled Bumblebee Jasper stones from Java, Indonesia
Average Size: 2.5 x 2 x 1 cm

Bumblebee Jasper: (Karen Osborne) This unusual stone was found only 5 years ago in volcanic vents in West Java, Indonesia. Only a small amount has been found so it is already a rare stone. It is not a ‘true’ jasper, as it does not contain Quartz, but a radially grown fibrous Calcite containing a mix of minerals (40 elements have been identified in its composition). This makes it a powerful healer as it can bring so many elements in the human body into balance. It contains calcite (carbonate) and Pyrite (black), orpiment and realgar, an arsenic sulfide mineral, (orange) and sulfur (yellow). It is VERY powerful and will bring buried thoughts and emotions to the surface very quickly. It contains the element of fire, which is quickly evident as it immediately begins burning through densities in the body and aura. It’s an intense stone that works rapidly. It can feel a bit overwhelming as it activates emotional triggers and really stirs things up. It is a great stone for those who are ready to work with it. When worn, Bumblebee Jasper provides protection, grounding, alertness and focus for the wearer.
(Judy Hall) This startlingly coloured Jasper is an excellent healer for sacral chakra dis-ease. Encouraging total honesty with yourself, the stone represents triumph over the impossible as a bee is not aerodynamically designed to fly.
(Unknown) Bumblebee Jasper is thought to be great for encouraging healthy friendships and helping ease feelings of jealousy. It is thought to be a stone of understanding that can help relieve an emotionally burdened heart.
